February in a school year is full of life. Students are in the thick of the school year, Valentine’s are exchanged, they understand the routines of their classroom environments, and hopefully, they are reaching the “flow” of their learning year. Winter sports seasons are in conference play, gearing up for the playoffs, and stage transformations from one show to the next in our Performing Arts Center are happening constantly!
But this time of year is also when we earnestly begin to look forward to the next year. As I mentioned last week, we hired a new Middle School principal for the fall. You can find my letter to parents, sent on Wednesday, appointing Derika Hacker to the role, here.
