Denver Christian is a parent run Preschool – 12th grade school serving the students of Christian families at our Lakewood campus.  Our long tradition of excellence began over 100 years ago, and today Denver Christian provides a world-class whole child education to over 875 students from 575 families representing over 120 Christian churches in the Denver metro area. Please visit our About page for more information.

Denver Christian partners with Christian families who desire a biblically-based education for their children.  We believe that God is sovereign over all things, including our subject areas and our classroom communities.  Faith is woven into every subject, not just Bible class and chapel.  Faith informs our attitudes and actions towards each other. At Denver Christian School, guiding our students to serve God and love others is at the heart of what we do. Please visit our Statement of Faith page to read more.

Denver Christian School is affiliated with both Christian Schools International and the Association of Christian Schools International and is accredited by Cognia. Faculty are licensed by the state of Colorado and average 14 years teaching experience, with nearly half having earned advanced degrees.

Denver Christian provides learning that’s appropriate for each student, from gifted to challenged.  Our curriculum is aligned for academic continuity and excellence.  We offer a rich variety of co curricular opportunities where our students continue to learn and grow, including a vibrant fine arts program, many service and community engagement opportunities, and a strong athletic program.  92% of our middle and high school students participate in sports team activities.  Denver Christian provides students with a community to belong to, where they will be supported and challenged from a Christian perspective.

We know the value of small class sizes and are intentional at keeping our teacher to student ratio low. Although most of our class sizes are smaller than this, our classes are capped at:

Kindergarten: 18 students

First-Third grades: 22 students

Fourth-Fifth grades: 23 students

Middle School: 23 students

High School: 27 students

The best way to discover the benefits of a Denver Christian School education is to experience it first hand. We offer personalized in-person and virtual campus tours as well as student shadow days, where students spend a half day with a student host attending classes and experiencing all the activities that occur during a typical school day. Parents and students can also attend one of our Preview Nights, which provide great opportunities to tour our campus, meet the admissions team, interact with teachers, and meet other prospective families.
