Thunder Grounds: Our coffee bar in the atrium is open for middle school and high school students as well as parents and staff from 7:50-10:30am daily.
Faith Families– Faith Families are groups of students from all different grade levels (k-12). Faith Families meet once a month and provide an opportunity for students to form bonds across grade levels. Faith Families also work together on service projects each year including Dance your Shoes Off that benefits Soles for Souls and a food drive in the Fall.

Chapel at Denver Christian

Chapel– Chapel is led by Chaplain Frankie Jones. Frankie offers spiritual guidance, encourages growth, is the author of Chaplains Corner, encourages student leadership by mentoring the DC Disciples group. Security at Denver Christian

Denver Christian has two full time security officers on site to help keep our school safe. Director of Security, Officer John Ford and our newest security officer, Jeremiah Branham. Both Ford and Branham bring experience and knowledge to our campus to enhance our security measures and work extremely hard to keep our students safe.

Serving the whole child is what we strive to do! Not only does Denver Christian support students academically, physically, spiritually but we support them emotionally too. Our school has a full and experienced counseling team serving preschool, elementary, middle and high school students with 42 years of combined experience and state licensures.

Room Parent Information– Our Room Parents are volunteers who serve a very important role. In order to be a room parent you will need to fill out a back ground check and be a part of our Parent’s Association.

Upcoming Orientation Dates:

Elementary Reading Assessment: 9am-12pm (15 minute bocks) on August 14th – Watch for the sign up genius to sign up for your slot.

BYOD- Bring your own computer device to school- Our high schoolers bring their own preferred computer device with them to class.
Career Academies (coming soon!) – Athletic Performance/Health, STEM, Education and Business/Entrepreneurship career paths.

Parking- Seniors have the option to purchase a parking spot in the Senior lot. The rest of the parking spaces are on a first come first serve basis. We do have over flow parking about a block away that has monitored security.
Athletics Website & Communication (Remind Groups)– Denver Christian athletics is in the Denver Metro League. Once a student is on a sports team the coach typically will send an invite to join a REMIND group to communicate. REMIND communication comes through texts.
High School Trips- Discovery Week (coming soon!) – Discovery week is an exciting time each year where our high school takes a full school week to discover new things. Discovery week can be in town, within the United States or out of the country.
Crew– Crew groups are groups made of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Crew meets every other week and possibly more. Service opportunities are offered within each Crew.
Off Campus Lunch Schedule– Seniors in good standing receive the privilege to leave campus for lunch twice a week.
