What a gift it has been to begin celebrating the Class of 2026! God has been shaping these students throughout their years at Denver Christian, and this week we honored them in some truly special ways.
As seniors finished classes earlier in the week, our school lived out some meaningful traditions. These moments remind us that education is about more than learning facts — it’s about forming whole people for lives of faithful service in God’s world. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “start children off on the way they should go,” and this class has walked that path with courage, faith, and growing wisdom.

On Tuesday, seniors gathered at the pond to be prayed over by their teachers. Then they walked through the halls of Denver Christian while the entire school community lined up to cheer them on. Preschoolers clapped. Elementary students cheered. Middle and high schoolers celebrated. It was a beautiful picture of what the body of Christ looks like — a community where students are seen, known, and loved every step of the way.

That evening, seniors presented their Senior Synthesis projects, and it was truly extraordinary. Each student shared how God has worked in and through their learning — connecting faith, education, and calling in powerful ways. Romans 12:2 calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, and these seniors showed us exactly what that transformation looks like.
This week, I look forward to seeing many of you at graduation on Thursday, May 22nd, at 5:00 PM. We will welcome the Class of 2026 into the Denver Christian alumni family, present diplomas, and celebrate their next step into God’s world. We cheerfully send them as beloved children of God, called to depend on him. Our prayer is that they carry what they’ve learned and experienced here into every corner of the world they enter, bearing witness to the grace and truth of Christ in all they do.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. We are so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see how God writes the next chapter of your story.
