Experience

Mike holds a degree in Sports Management from Metropolitan State University of Denver and brings a strong background in leadership and athletics to his role. He also served in the United States Navy, where he completed the Navy’s Advanced Leader Development Course (ALDC) as part of his professional leadership development. At Denver Christian, Mike is passionate about using athletics as an opportunity to develop students beyond the field of competition. He believes athletics can teach valuable lessons about character, discipline, teamwork, perseverance, humility, and how to respond to both success and adversity. Mike’s approach to athletics is rooted in the Denver Christian mission: “To represent Christ accurately in wins and losses on and off the field of competition.” He strives to support coaches, athletes, and families while continually looking for ways to improve the overall student-athlete experience and build a strong athletic culture throughout the school.
