Choosing a school for your child involves balancing your family’s values, the quality of the educational experience, and thoughtful financial stewardship. We understand that affording private Christian education can be challenging, and we want families to know that questions about affordability are both normal and welcome.
At Denver Christian School, affordability is part of a shared commitment. Families who choose DC view Christian education as one of the most meaningful investments they can make in their children and thoughtfully prioritize it within their budgets. In return, DC is committed to providing high-quality programs and facilities, expert faculty and staff, a strong foundation in Christian values, careful stewardship of school resources, and access to financial assistance for eligible families.
Flexible Payment Plans
We want to help make tuition feel more manageable for your family’s budget. That’s why Denver Christian School also offers one-payment, 10-month, and 12-month payment plans through FACTS Tuition Management, giving families flexibility in how and when to pay tuition.

Tuition Assistance & Scholarships
Our vision is to provide an accessible, world-class, whole-child, Christian education that continually helps its students flourish every day in every way. To help make that vision a reality for families throughout the Denver metro area, DC partners with qualifying families through tuition assistance and scholarship opportunities.
We use a third-party platform called FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to evaluate each family’s financial circumstances and provide the school with an independent analysis of demonstrated need. Families must complete a new FACTS assessment each year to be considered for tuition assistance or a qualifying scholarship.
What It Provides
Need-based assistance toward tuition for qualifying families. Awards are based on demonstrated financial need and the number of students enrolled at Denver Christian. General Financial Aid is funded through the school’s operational budget and does not cover education fees or co-curricular participation fees.
The former Mosaic and Deters Scholarships have been combined with the general scholarship fund, so families do not need to apply for them separately.
Who May Qualify
Enrolled or applying DC families with demonstrated financial need.
Required Materials
A completed FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and the requested financial documentation.
What It Provides
An annually renewable, need-based scholarship for qualifying Denver Christian families connected to Colorado Christian University.
Who May Qualify
Families with at least one parent employed full-time by Colorado Christian University. Eligibility and award amounts are based on demonstrated financial need.
Required Materials
A completed FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and verification of full-time employment at CCU. All materials must be submitted through the family’s FACTS financial aid account.
What It Provides
A need-based scholarship for children whose parents serve as full-time pastors. This scholarship reflects the partnership between Denver Christian, participating families, and their churches.
Who May Qualify
Families with a parent currently serving as a pastor. Eligibility and award amounts are based on demonstrated financial need.
Required Materials
A completed FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and an essay describing the partnership between the family’s church and Denver Christian School. Materials must be submitted through the family’s FACTS financial aid account.
What It Provides
A privately funded scholarship through the Alliance for Choice in Education for qualifying students from low-income households. Denver Christian School is a participating ACE school.
Who May Qualify
Families who meet the income and eligibility requirements established by ACE.
Required Materials
The ACE Scholarship Application and copies of the family’s two most recent federal tax returns. Applications and supporting materials must be submitted through the family’s FACTS financial aid account.
Application Deadline
ACE Scholarship applications typically open in early February, with a deadline of April 15.
How to Apply for Tuition Assistance or Scholarships
Once you’ve identified the opportunities that may fit your family, the next step is to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. DC uses this secure process to better understand each family’s financial circumstances and determine eligibility for available assistance.

Apply to Denver Christian
Families must apply for admission to Denver Christian School to be considered for tuition assistance or scholarships.
2.
Access Your FACTS Financial Aid Account
Sign in or create an account to begin the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Your FACTS financial aid account is separate from your regular FACTS Family account.
3.
Complete the Annual Assessment
Provide the requested information about your family’s finances. A new assessment is required each year, and FACTS charges an application fee when the form is submitted.
4.
Upload the Required Documents
Upload copies of your completed federal tax forms and any other financial documents requested by FACTS. If you are applying for a specific scholarship, include the additional materials listed with that opportunity. Note: Required documents can be uploaded after an application has been submitted.
5.
Watch for Your Award Letter
We will send award decisions by email. If assistance is offered, follow the instructions in your letter to accept or decline the award by the applicable deadline.
Apply early! Families are encouraged to apply as soon as the FACTS application becomes available. FACTS applications generally open in December and close on July 1 for the upcoming school year.

Additional Discounts & Tuition Credits
Financial assistance is only one way DC helps families manage the cost of tuition. Your family may also benefit from automatic discounts, referral credits, and everyday purchasing opportunities that reduce your tuition balance.
Multi-Child Discount
Families with more than two children enrolled at Denver Christian School receive a 5% tuition discount for the third child and each additional child. The discount is calculated using the lowest tuition rate and is applied automatically — no separate application is required.
New Family Referral Incentive
Current DC families can receive a $1,000 tuition credit when they refer a new family that enrolls one or more students in Grades K–12.
To qualify, the referring family must submit the New Family Referral form to the Business Office before November 1 of the new school year. Once the new family is accepted and enrolled, the credit is applied in two installments: $500 in December and $500 in May of the following year.
RaiseRight Tuition Credits
Turn purchases you already make into tuition savings through RaiseRight. Families purchase gift cards for participating retailers at face value and earn rebates that are applied to their Denver Christian tuition accounts. Rebate percentages vary by retailer and typically range from 2% to 15%.
Tuition credits earned through RaiseRight are applied to family accounts in December and May.
