Homecoming Week 2021

We are already a month into the new school year! Last year, we were not able to have a traditional homecoming week. While we enjoyed the spirit week activities that our amazing student council put together, we are so excited to have a full homecoming week starting today!

Students can sign up to be involved with banner painting, boat building, float making (for our first annual Homecoming K-12 parade this year), dance decorations, blue tube, and sidewalk chalk. Each class will work on these all week long and integrate their theme into it. Every day counts — grades can earn points for having a high percentage dress up with that day’s theme. At the end of the week, judges score each activity for who did best and it goes on the master homecoming scoreboard.

Here’s the lineup for our high school homecoming week:

Monday, September 20th

Tuesday, September 21st

Wednesday, September 22nd

  • Dress Up Theme: On Wednesdays, we wear pink.
  • 2pm: Middle & High school meet and mingle
  • 1:45 – 3:15: Rough-Neck Volleyball Tournament

Thursday, September 23rd

Friday, September 24th

  • Dress Up Theme: Class Color Day
  • 1:45 – 2:30pm: Our first ever Homecoming Parade!
  • 2:30pm: Boat Races
  • 3:30pm: Fall Festival (K-12–you don’t want to miss this!)
  • 7pm: Homecoming Football Game
  • 9pm: High School Homecoming Bonfire

Saturday, September 25th

We cherish this time as a chance for our students to work together as grades. This not only brings a lot of fun, chaos, and energy to the high school for the week, provides an opportunity for students to work together and enjoy friendship. Classes cannot succeed without strategizing each event and working together–what a great opportunity for students to showcase their unique talents!

Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see our week’s activities unfold! We are so thankful to be able to enjoy community as a high school and as a whole school this week!
