Denver Christian School is also thrilled to announce the return of its football program after a 5-year hiatus. The football program will kick-off as an 8-man Junior Varsity team in the fall of 2019, and a Varsity program for the 2020-2022 cycle. CHSAA received this information at the 2018 football committee meeting, and approved this plan at the committee level. Contingent on the CHSAA classification committee and legislative council meetings, Denver Christian School is preparing to, once again, offer football to students.
“Along with our current 8th grade class showing tremendous interest in this program and new student inquiries about the program, we have seen God orchestrate many other factors, which lead us to believe this is this right time to restart our program,” said Barb Landhuis, DCS Athletic Director. “We are eager to get football up and running!”
