Denver Christian Board of Trustees Letter

Dear Denver Christian Community,

As you know, we are in a time of leadership transition.  We realize that change can be scary and brings anxiety and uncertainty with it.  As a Board, we care deeply about Denver Christian and we recognize that we have the privilege of leading this school and community into a rich future.

We have come a long way as a Denver Christian family in the past 100 years, with many ‘seasons’ of change. The consolidation and move from 3 campuses into our beautiful new home was a re-birth of a stronger and more sustainable Denver Christian School.  We are so excited for the direction the school is headed and are committed to pursuing and enriching the distinctive and outstanding Christian Education that Denver Christian brings to families.

Extensive work was done several years ago in identifying how to move DCS into a successful future. The board is united around our values, and affirms our mission of inspiring and equipping children of Christian parents to engage the world with Christ’s transforming power and love. As we move through another chapter of leadership transition, we will be inviting you to conversations and meetings to get your input as well. We value your help and input and we want to move forward together as a Christian community.

We are already hard at work in preparing for the future.  We have partnered with Glenn Vos, a well-respected Christian School consultant who has helped many schools across the country with transitions such as ours. He has already been on campus working with the Education Team, Executive Leadership team and the Board of Trustees and we are extremely blessed to have him be involved. We are excited for all of you to get to know him better as well.

Continue to pray for this school, its leaders and the community.  This transition will inevitably be difficult at times; however, we are convinced that God is leading us on a bright path forward. If you have additional questions or suggestions please do not hesitate to reach out to us at

In thanks and prayer,
Denver Christian Board of Trustees
