Faith Formation

Imagine your elementary child, known and loved as a unique and precious child of God; hearing daily the good news of the gospel; nurtured, celebrated, and guided by caring Christian teachers.

This is your child’s faith walk at Denver Christian Schools.

Faith Formation - Elementary

Imagine your middle school child, growing and thriving in a unique environment where loving, patient, experienced teachers guide and encourage young adolescents as they learn to live out an increasingly personal faith in an increasingly complex world, and as they work together to build a vibrant and authentic faith community.

This is faith formation at Denver Christian Schools.

Imagine your high school student—one day, your high school graduate.

Who is that person, that child-turned-adult, ready to move on to college and life?

Our goal—more than that, our deepest desire—is that your Denver Christian Schools graduate is thoughtful and honest about self and God; knowledgeable and wise about the world and the choices it offers; prepared to articulate, defend, and live out a personal faith; and eager to increasingly participate in bringing about the change in the world that God desires.

This is the goal of spiritual development activities at Denver Christian Schools.

"It was at Denver Christian that I learned to articulate an authentic, thoughtful, personal faith…its caring teachers and their willingness to dialogue honestly with me about tough issues of life—about doubt and struggle and commitment—prepared me to truly “give answer” for my Christianity. At the University of Chicago, I heard over and over again that after people met me, they could understand why someone would become a Christian. In fact, I sometimes felt that my calling at Chicago might be nothing more than to make sure that everyone who met me would be able to say
“I knew a thoughtful Christian once...”
