Why Denver Christian School?

1A Biblical Worldview is woven into all aspects of education with the belief that all truth is God’s truth. Children of Christian parents learn to see and live in the world from a Biblical perspective.

3Technology is integrated into all classroom learning. Equipped with two computer labs, Promethian boards in all classrooms and over 60 student-use laptops, DCS offers STEM courses in addition to film, marketing and graphics classes.

5Participation in co-curricular activities is strongly encouraged among the student body. DCS excels in athletics, art, band, choir, and Speech and Debate, as well as academics. The student community is strong at DCS!

7Denver Christian engages students through class trips with a focus on community building, cultural awareness, and service. Students have the opportunity to participate in planned trips to IdRaHaJe, Rehoboth, New Mexico, Disneyland, Japan, Sierra Leone and other domestic and international locations.

9Denver Christian is blessed to have qualified teachers who are state licensed, many with advanced degrees. Teachers create a positive learning environment that both challenges students and supports them to excel. Strong connections and relationships are fostered between teachers and students.

2Academic Excellence is achieved through highly dedicated and experienced teachers. High School Students can participate in programs like Dual Enrollment, Honors and AP courses. All grades participate in art, computer, music, PE and Library classes.

4Individualized Instruction is reinforced through small class sizes. Teachers and learning assistants who work with the Extend Program at DCS encourage students to “extend” the learning opportunities for academic reinforcement as well as academic challenge.

6DCS is thriving in our new Educational Facility that resides on 225,000 square feet containing large classrooms, break out spaces, 2 gymnasiums, 2 playgrounds, 2 libraries, 2 seminar lecture rooms, band room and choir rooms, and a wholesome lunch cafeteria for our student and faculty communities to enjoy.

8Discipleship and development of the whole child includes the spiritual, academic, social, emotional and physical aspects of each student. Students meet for Chapel weekly for praise and worship and intergenerational activities.

10The Denver Christian School Community is a vibrant Christian community eager to welcome new students and families! We look forward to meeting you!
