Students are taught the invaluable gift of writing well in Ms. Poland's class. She understands that helping student's achieve their best takes a lot of feedback and fine-tuning. But, her commitment to their efforts keeps students inspired to learn. Ms. Poland feels blessed to partner with Christian parents as students embrace Denver Christian's challenging, Christ-centered curriculum. She feels it is a job to be part of each child's growth in knowledge and in faith. When she is not teaching, Val calls herself an "S" girl: Swimmer, scrap-booker and sports fan (especially for the Kansas Jayhawks and the Broncos).
