Mrs. Horner's passion is to expose students to God's amazing creations. She likes to challenge students to think about their learning beyond the classroom, beyond science so that they can make informed decisions as citizens of the future. She asks them to reflect on what all this means in the light of their faith. If you ask her students, they love the dissections. Mrs. Horner says they do a lot of hands-on learning using manipulative material and laboratory work. She engages the entire sensorium when thinking about diverse ways to teach new concepts. In her spare time, Mrs. Horner loves being with her family. Her hobbies include reading, cycling, walking, gardening and playing the cello.
