I was born in Griffin, Georgia and lived in 4 other states before graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a Fine Arts degree K-12. I inspire students by exploring different artist & their style. I show many examples of artist, students & personal artwork. I encourage students to do their best, be creative and to use their imagination. If the student feels they made a mistake in their art, I encourage them to use it to their advantage & turn it into something else. I equip students to recognize their abilities and their God given gifts. I think students enjoy my art class because I am positive, happy to see them, and love showing & teaching art. It is the best job a person could have, doing something I love. I feel having the students experience a variety of mediums gives them so many options to express their feelings, ideas & thoughts. For myself, I enjoy many different arts and crafts. I love working with recycle items to recreate works of art. I enjoy vegetable gardening. My most fun is being with my boys and their families.
