Kelvin is a Montana native but would consider Colorado his second home because a majority of his life was spent in Eastern Colorado. He is a sports fanatic having played football, basketball and track in high school and eventually went on to play a year of college football back in his home state of Montana before an injury would alter his plans. He eventually transferred to the University of Northern Colorado where he completed a degree in Sports and Exercise Science with an emphasis in K-12 Physical Education. Kelvin's experience in coaching includes 3 years as an assistant varsity football coach, 2.5 years as an assistant varsity boys basketball coach, 1 year as an assistant varsity girls basketball coach, and 1 year as an assistant varsity track and field coach. After teaching elementary physical education and coaching at Resurrection Christian School in Loveland, Kelvin and his wife, Teryn, moved overseas to London, U.K. for one year to serve as apprentices at All Souls Church, Langham Place. God used this experience to lead both of them back to Colorado where Kelvin is now attending Denver Seminary and is working on completing a Master's of Divinity degree. He is also currently serving as the middle school intern pastor at Centennial Covenant Church in Littleton.
