2016 Girls Soccer

The Denver Christian girls soccer team is looking to build on success from a year ago. The girls’ last season ended on a hard-fought 1-0 loss in the state semi-finals. Although last season ended on a frustrating note so close to the final, they cannot help but enter this new season with confidence, knowing how much they accomplished, and can accomplish. They know what they are capable of and look forward to the challenge ahead of them. But new faces and new leaders must rise to that challenge. They have been hard at work, trying to improve before their first game. Coach Homan has brought his team back to the basics, focusing on fundamentals and the nitty-gritty work of soccer. They are also still working on team chemistry and getting to know each other more. In every sport, these seemingly small things are necessary arts needed to be perfected in order for them to succeed. DC looks to thrive in both these areas. Come out and support our girls in their first game against Clear Creek on Tuesday, March 15 at 4 pm at the home field (14711 W Morrison Rd, Morrison, CO 80465)!
